Lake County YMCA Perry Residents Summer Family Membership Only $25

PAINESVILLE (April 29, 2009) – Perry Township Trustees is offering residents of Perry Township, North Perry Village and Perry Village a discounted summer family membership of only $25 to the Lake County YMCA Outdoor Family Center, compared to the Y's regular summer family membership fee of $220.

The Outdoor Family Center has numerous summer activities for everyone in the family including swimming, waterpark slides, mini-golf, in-line skating, tennis, racquetball, basketball, hiking, sand volleyball, soccer, picnics and YMCA family activities.

If you are a resident in Perry Township, North Perry Village or Perry Village and would like to get your summer family membership or additional information regarding the discounted membership, contact the Lake County YMCA at (440) 352-3303 or visit www.lakecountyymca.org.

It is the YMCA’s belief that no one should be denied the benefit of a YMCA program or membership because of financial need. Through the generosity of many caring donors who give to the annual Strong Kids Campaign, YMCA is able to offer assistance to those in need. Contact the YMCA for financial aid information and an application.

First established in 1866, the lake County YMCA was originally known as the Painesville YMCA until it merged with the County YMCA in 1922. It was one of the earliest YMCA associations to include classes and activities for women. Today, the Lake County YMCA annually serves approximately 50,000 members and program participants. The YMCA is committed to building strong kids, strong families and strong communities. www.lakecountyymca.org
