Q: Why can't the snow plow driver go the opposite direction on a cul-de-sac so the snow piles up in the center?
A: For the safety of the residents snow cannot be piled in the center of a cul-de-sac. The safety forces (fire and rescue vehicles) as well as service vehicles such as garbage, service or delivery need to have access to all streets and the accumulation of snow blocks that access.
